Welcome to the North Royalton Middle School Counseling Department
Dan Foldesy
Mr. Dan Foldesy
I have enjoyed 18 years at NRMS as a Guidance Counselor. It has been very challenging, and rewarding working with every grade and all the teachers throughout my career. I truly believe that middle school students are the best and most rewarding to work with. During the year, I enjoy coaching cross-country and wrestling with the 7th and 8th graders. I have been in middle school my entire career spending ten years as a 5th and 6th grade teacher before getting a Masters’ Degree in School Counseling and a Masters’ Degree in School Administration. I am married to a teacher and have two children. Please feel free to contact me at:  440-582-9121 or e-mail me at:

I feel my overall mission is to empower students to become life-long learners and effective problem solvers. I work with students, by encouraging them to set academic, social, and emotional goals that are challenging, but attainable.   As a counselor, I draw from my eight years of teaching students with academic, emotional, and behavioral needs to develop creative preventions and solutions for all students at North Royalton Middle School. I am inspired everyday working to help students find success.  I earned my Certificate in School Counseling at Cleveland State University in 2006. Any questions and comments are welcomed. I can be reached at 582-9128 or email at:
