New Student Registration and Enrollment

 Registration Gateway is now up and running.  We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition to a new system.  If you have any questions or concerns please call Central Registration at 440-582-9140.  

 

All students new to the District ( K through Grade 12) must be registered online prior to enrolling. PRESCHOOL registration CANNOT be completed online. Persons interested in discussing Preschool Services should contact Royal View at (440) 582-9080.


The North Royalton City School District has a NEW online registration system for incoming students for the 2018-2019 school year.   The new system, Gateway, is now accessible through the district’s website from anywhere there is a computer with an internet connection, including at home or the public library.


REGISTRATION-NEW STUDENTS Grades K-12, 2018-2019 School Year

STEP 1 – REGISTER

To register a student for the 2018-2019  SCHOOL YEAR  CLICK HERE.  

STEP 2 – SELECT AN APPOINTMENT TIME THROUGH THE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULER

Once you have completed all pages in the Registration Gateway, you will be able to select an appointment through the scheduler.  The times available for registration will appear on the date you select.  Please note you will only see available spaces.  Times not listed have already been filled by other registrants.  

STEP 3 – ATTEND REGISTRATION APPOINTMENT

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY a CUSTODIAL PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN can officially enroll a student; therefore, they MUST be the person(s) present at the registration appointment.The Central Registration office is located in the North Royalton High School, Room 308 – 14713 Ridge Road, North Royalton. You MUST enter the double doors closest to the Community Room facing Ridge Road (do not use the main entrance to the High School). During school hours you will need to be buzzed into the Pupil Services office. Please remember that a registration appointment MUST be set up prior to meeting with the registrar.

ITEMS LISTED BELOW MUST BE BROUGHT TO REGISTRATION:

  • Child’s Birth Certificate: certified with State seal (NO PHOTO COPIES or BIRTH LETTERS). Students born outside of the U.S. must have their native country’s birth certificate AND an original notarized English translation. Students born outside of the U.S. may ALSO provide one of the following: passport, visa, or green card.

  • Proof of Residency:

    • Renters: Current signed lease

    • Home Owners: Current utility bill or current mortgage loan statement(current meaning month of registration).

    • Persons residing with others: Owner must complete the Owner Affidavit and resident must complete the Residency and Custody Affidavit; Owner (if they hold title to the property) must also submit a current bill: if the Owner is renting a current signed lease is required. (All affidavits must be notarized prior to registration).

  • Driver’s License or state I.D. (non-expired) of residential parent registering student (only the Parent/Guardian may register student)

  • Divorce Documents (if applicable) Must be a certified copy with any exhibits, attachments, shared parenting plans, visitation schedules, etc. as referenced in the divorce decree.

  • Custody Documents (if other than divorce) must be a court-filed document with all pages and attachments.


New Students to the District for the 2017-18 School Year

To register/enroll your child/children in the North Royalton City School District, please follow the steps below for EACH child that you need to register/enroll. Please complete each step in the process to ensure your child is registered in a timely and efficient manner.   


STEPS IN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS

STEP 1 – REGISTER

To register a student for the current 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR  CLICK HERE.  

STEP 2 – LOOK FOR YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND COMPLETE/GATHER THE DOCUMENTS LISTED

Once the pre-registration information is submitted, you will receive an email containing links to the required forms to be downloaded, printed, completed, and brought to your registration appointment along with a list of additional documents that are required. Please be sure your email address has been entered correctly otherwise you will not receive the email containing links to forms.

STEP 3 – CALL CENTRAL REGISTRATION

Call our Central Registration Department (440-582-9140) to set up an appointment to bring in the required forms and documents to complete the enrollment. On the date of your registration appointment, please make sure to bring all the necessary original documents and forms with you. Please refer to the email for a list of the required forms and documents. STEP 4 – INFOSNAP

Once we have the necessary documentation and it has been verified, you will be emailed a registration code for our student information system, Infosnap. This system allows you to provide us with detailed information on your child including emergency contact information and medical concerns. This will also give you access to the district medical forms, student handbooks, free and reduced lunch application, and inform you of any other important information necessary to ensure a successful academic year for your child.

Required Forms
Must be completed for all students new to the District.
Only needs to be completed if family is residing with someone else or if parent/guardian does not have a signed lease in their name for the address of residence.
