School Counseling

The Goal of the School Counseling Program is to...

Inspire and empower learners by maximizing the academic, career and person/social development of all students and helping them become productive members of the school community.

Our guidance program at Albion School offers a variety of services for students, parents, and staff. These programs include teaching parenting classes, working with students individually or in small groups, training students to be conflict managers, conducting classroom guidance sessions which may include topics on kindness, listening, courage, leadership, respect, friendship, and appreciation, just to name a few.

Each of these programs is designed to help our students be successful both academically and socially, and to enhance each child's elementary experience at Albion. Specific information about these programs will appear on this web page throughout the school year.
I am available every day to staff and parents. Students may also stop in any time to speak with me, request an appointment or to inquire about our programs. Parents, teachers or other staff members may also initiate a referral to the school counselor. I try to make myself very accessible to students and parents through my involvement in morning announcements, student council, PTA events, and lunch/ recess activities.

I encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns regarding your child. If you would like me to meet with your child, please do not hesitate to contact me.
