About the North Royalton
Educational Foundation
Established to enrich educational opportunities
for students, the North Royalton Educational Foundation was formed in 1986. The
North Royalton City Schools are one of the fastest growing school districts
in Cuyahoga County. The district's reputation for academic excellence is a
major reason why people choose to live in North Royalton. The financial demands of keeping pace with a
growing student population, the rapidly advancing world of technology, and
the need to provide students with a level of education that will keep them
competitive in the world’s job market, make the work of the North Royalton
Educational Foundation more important than ever before. Through fundraising efforts, including a yearly
Membership Drive, the Educational Foundation awards grants to teachers each
spring. These grants are awarded at every grade level and encompass the needs
of students ranging from special education to gifted education. Other
fundraisers include the Texas Hold’Em Tournament in
both the fall and spring and the annual Spaghetti Dinner in the fall. In addition, the Educational Foundation helps
fund district programs recognizing academic excellence, provides a Teacher of
the Year award and stipend, and awards a yearly Educational Foundation
College Scholarship. The Educational Foundation also serves as a vehicle for
individuals and families to set up special Memorial Scholarships. When you
donate to the North Royalton Educational Foundation, your contribution will
go toward such items as: hands-on classroom enrichment materials, reading
literacy projects, mathematic skill enhancements, challenging science
projects, supplemental art and music equipment, and a variety of other items
which all enhance educational opportunities for our students
