Kindergarten Registration

Please follow the steps as indicated below to ensure a successful registration for your child(ren). Registration packets may be picked up at any of the district schools or downloaded.

  • Kindergarten packets may be downloaded as follows:
    • Go to the North Royalton website: http://www.northroyaltonsd.org
    • Choose Board of Education at the top of the page
    • Scroll down and locate gray block on left side of page
    • Place cursor on District Operations, menu will open up to the right of the gray box
    • Click on Central Registration
  • Download, print, and complete the following documents:
    • Affidavit of Residency (This document must be notarized)
    • Alternate Transportation Form (Complete only if pick up and/or drop off is other than home address)
    • Child Information Sheet
    • Quadrant Sheet/Lottery Form
    • Medical Information Sheet
  • Items listed below must be brought to registration:
    • Child’s Original Birth Certificate – or certified with State seal (NO PHOTO COPIES)
    • Students born outside of the U.S. must have their native country’s birth certificate along with an original notarized English translation. You may also provide one of the following: passport, visa, or green card.
    • Proof of Residency (Renters: current signed lease and landlord’s phone number; Home Owners: February 2012 utility bill, homeowner’s insurance declaration page, or February 2012 mortgage loan statement; persons residing with others must have 2 notarized affidavits of residency - one for parent registering student and one from the person they are living with plus proof of residency from the person they are living with (see examples above for renters or home owners)
    • Driver’s License of residential parent registering student (Parent/Guardian only may register student)
    • Divorce Documents (If applicable) Must be a certified copy with any exhibits, attachments, shared parenting plans, visitation schedules, etc. as referenced in the divorce decree.
    • Custody Documents (If other than divorce) Must be a court-filed document with all pages and attachments

During Registration, you will be given a SNAP CODE to access our online process to complete your child’s registration.
