Contributed on June 10, 2014 by Jason Fullington, Network & Systems Coordinator/Webmaster

Dear new North Royalton High School student,

We are so excited that you will be joining us as a new student for the 2014-2015 academic year!

We would like to make your transition to North Royalton High School as smooth as possible. While all new 9th grade students are encouraged to attend Freshmen Orientation at 8:00 am on August 15th, we have arranged for all new 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students to meet with some of our student Link Leaders on Friday, August 15th at 12:30 pm so they can answer any of your questions about the school and give you a walking tour of where your classrooms will be located.

Please email Jennifer Forshey at and ask to be included on the Friday New Student Session and Tour.

We look forward to meeting you.

North Royalton High School Summer Reading Program
Contributed on May 29, 2014 by Jason Fullington, Network & Systems Coordinator/Webmaster

The North Royalton High School English Department is pleased to release the 2014 required Summer Reading Program for all North Royalton High School students. The department believes that summer reading will be beneficial to our students in a number of ways. First, summer reading will assist our students in meeting the increased demands of the PARCC exams and the Ohio Graduation Test. Success on these tests relies on strong reading and writing abilities in all disciplines. To that end, we expect that continued practice throughout the summer will help our students retain and perhaps even hone their reading skills. Moreover, since 90% of our seniors indicate that they are college bound, we hope that increasing our literacy goals will promote success on college entrance exams and college level work as well as prepare them for the increasingly competitive world beyond high school. Most importantly, we hope summer reading will encourage reading among our students as a lifelong recreational pursuit.
