Report Cards
Dear Parents/Guardians:

The North Royalton City School District changed from paper report cards to electronic report cards beginning with the first quarter of this school year. By utilizing the existing ProgressBook system, you will have quicker access to your child's grades and comments. The look of the report card mirrors that of a paper one and is able to be printed. We hope that you find this new system convenient and simple to use to follow your child's progress. Please remember that the only report card that will be printed out and sent home will be the end-of-year report card, although an electronic version will still be available.

If you need assistance with logging into ProgressBook, please contact our main office.

Report cards will be ready to be viewed online on Friday, January 18 at 3:00 p.m.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, school counselor, grade level principal or me with any questions throughout the year.

Thanks,
Jeff

Scheduling
Scheduling

As the first semester comes to an end this week and we approach the midway point of the school year, I am confident that our students will continue to demonstrate The Bear Way and excellence in the classroom.  It is hard to believe that we will begin preparing for next year already, but in a few short weeks we will begin the scheduling process.

Please note that the high school will be distributing scheduling materials to the 8th grade students on Friday, January 18.  There is a parent night scheduled for 8th grade families on Wednesday, January 23 at 7:00 PM in the PAC.  8th grade students will then begin scheduling on Monday, February 4.

Additionally, the 5th - 7th grade students will be learning about the scheduling process from our school counselors.  After a scheduling overview is presented by our school counselors, they will meet with each student individually throughout January and February to talk about academics, career exploration, and social/emotional development.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, school counselor, grade level principal or me with any questions throughout the year.

Thanks,
Jeff
