The North Royalton Athletic Boosters have begun its membership drive for the 2008-2009 school year. Many people do not realize the financial support the Boosters provide to the athletic programs in the Middle and High Schools; for example, the Boosters provided over $90,000.00 in funding for uniforms, equipment, scholarships, etc. for the 2007-2008 school year. The Boosters are hoping to continue in their fundraising efforts, as there is a continual need from the 74 teams supported by the NRAB. In order to do that in this economic environment, we are going to need everyone’s help! All student athletes will benefit, directly or indirectly, from our efforts. Therefore, we are asking not only that everyone become a Booster member, but that they also volunteer their time to help us in our fundraising efforts. Remember to access the NRAB website at www.nrab.net and to follow the links below to view the president's letter and the current 08-09 Membership forms. GO BEARS!
Students who will be seniors next year, if you wish to purchase a parking permit you must pick up an application in the main office beginning this Thursday. Fill out the application completely and turn it in any day next week with proof of a driver’s license and insurance. After next week, we will not be accepting senior applications. Seniors will pick up their permit when they pick up the packet on August 20th . At that time, seniors must pay the $50 permit fee. Parking Permits are non-transferable. Other student fees will be paid on Fee Form and Photo day September 5th.
Juniors: No junior will be issued a permit until after September 5th so that we may determine how many permits can be sold based on the number of seniors purchasing parking permits. Any junior wishing to purchase a parking permit for next year, please fill out a form located in the main office. The deadline for juniors is June 6th. Juniors will be selected based on the criteria listed in the student handbook. These criteria are GPA and attendance. Since CVCC is not allowing juniors to drive the first quarter, CVCC students will not be permitted to purchase passes early.
Lastly, due to the increase in the number of students here at NRHS, the parking will be monitored closely every day. Any student parking illegally will have a $20 fee attached to their student fees for every parking violation and may be towed. Student fees must be paid before any student is permitted to graduate.
