e-Link

e-Link is the way to view your student’s bus information.

e-Link provides access your student’s individual bus information giving you the most accurate information throughout the school year.

You will use your primary phone number (no dashes, no parenthesis, just the ten digits) as your username AND password the first time you log in.

You will then be prompted to change your password, and complete the information requested and click “Save”. Your username will always remain the primary phone number.

After the initial log in, you will begin to use the new password you selected to go with your username. Should you ever forget your password, simply click “Forgot Password” and an email will be sent to the email address you provided at the initial log in.

Joe Marcinowski The North Royalton City School District Transportation Department has a fleet that consists of 66 buses and three vans. We employ 51 regular and six substitute drivers, three van drivers, and four bus monitors. The garage staff consists of a supervisor and two full time mechanics. The transportation office has a staff of three, which includes myself. We travel more than 3,300 miles per day and transport more than 3,200 students per day to 13 different buildings.

2013-2014 Transportation Information

All students are to be standing at their designated bus stop 5 minutes prior to the stop time. During the first ten (10) days of school, please allow for extra time on routes as ridership and traffic patterns will require adjustments in the route times.

Assumption Academy: If your student is not assigned to an Assumption bus, they will ride a High School bus to the high school in the AM. A transfer bus (Bus 25) transports these students to Assumption Academy. In the PM, your student will ride from Assumption Academy to the Middle School, then transfer to a middle school bus.

Holy Family School, Incarnate Word Academy, Padua Franciscan High School: Students ride the High School busses in the AM. In the PM, students ride the Middle School busses. A transfer bus (Holy Family and Incarnate Word is Bus 39, Padua is Bus 26) transports students to and from their appropriate school.

Royal Redeemer Lutheran School: Students ride the St. Albert busses in the AM and PM. A transfer bus (Bus 26) transports students to and from Royal Redeemer.

Alternate Pick-Up and Drop-Off Location

Alternate location must be in the same attendance area as your residence, unless going to an approved day care center: Apple Child Care, Enrichment Center, Imagination Station, and YMCA at Valley Vista for students attending ECC, all elementary buildings, and Middle School. Beginner’s World for students attending ECC and Royalview Elementary. Small Miracles for students attending ECC and Valley Vista Elementary. During the school year this form must be filled out and returned to the child’s school of attendance. DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS, mail or fax the completed form directly to the Transportation Office.

Change of Address or Drop-Off Location

Students having a change of address or the need to be picked up or dropped off at an address other than home (for babysitting or daycare purposes only) must report the new information to their child’s school of attendance. NO CHANGE OF ADDRESSES WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT. NO BUS INFORMATION WILL BE GIVEN OUT UNTIL THE SCHOOL NOTIFIES TRANSPORTATION OF THE NEW ADDRESS. The Transportation Department must receive the information at least one week prior to starting bus service to the new address in order to avoid any delays in your child’s transportation.

Parental Transportation Contracts

Parents of children attending non-public schools which North Royalton City Schools does not provide transportation to should submit a Reimbursement Contract no later than September 27, 2013 to your child’s school. This Reimbursement Contract is available at your child’s school. The contract must be filled out completely, along with the parent/guardian signature to be valid.

Transportation Committee Application

All applications for appeals are due no later than one week prior to the date the applicant will present the appeal. Applicants will be given approximately 10 minutes to present his/her appeal, at which time all pertinent information should be offered to the committee. Questions by the committee members will follow the applicant’s presentation. Committee decisions will be issued subsequent to the appeal date.
