Community Invited to Beam Signing on Fri. 9/13
To celebrate construction progress being made at North Royalton High School, the North Royalton City Schools' community is invited to a beam signing at the varsity football game on Friday, September 13, beginning at 6 p.m. The beam will be located inside the stadium between the concession and home stands, and the community will have the opportunity to "make their mark" by signing their name in this historic event.
Much work was completed over the summer with the high school construction project, which is on time and within budget. The Performing Arts Center and the main gym fire suppression systems are now updated. The community room is now the main office and Gym 3 is now the media center. Both of those are only temporary until the new spaces are ready. The old office and media center are beginning to take shape into the new kitchen and eating area. The back teachers’ lot has been repaved after new storm lines were installed. It now has stripes on it for both band rehearsal and parking. The skeleton of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) wing in the new addition is being erected.
“We thank the community for investing in all of our schools and look forward to celebrating the progress we are making with our residents in this historic beam signing event,” said Superintendent Greg Gurka, North Royalton City Schools.
