The draft calendars for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years were presented to the community at the November 4 Board of Education meeting. In addition, the drafts of these calendars were placed on our District website and the community was asked to direct comments to Superintendent Greg Gurka. Since that time, changes have been made to the current year's calendar and the 2020-21 school year draft calendar.
As March 17, 2020, is a Presidential Primary in Ohio, we anticipate a high volume of voters utilizing the polling places on that day. Because of that, we have decided to close the three elementary schools for students that day and hold a staff in-service for PK-4 staff.
Additionally, November 3, 2020, is election day and is the Presidential election and again, we anticipate a high volume of voters utilizing the polling places. Therefore, we will close the three elementary schools for students and conduct a staff in-service day for grades PK-4.
As we will be in our new facilities for the 2021-22 school year and our existing buildings can still be used for polling places, there are no changes to the 2021-22 calendar.CLICK HERE
