2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR & COVID RESOURCES

2020-21 School Year/COVID-19 Information

The health, safety and well-being of the students and staff at North Royalton City Schools is a priority as we move through the 2020-21 school year together.  We thank our school community for their patience and partnership as we navigate through these uncharted waters together and what seems like ever-changing developments in this COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to update this page with information and important resources for our school families.

These numbers are updated continually based on direct reports of positive COVID-19 cases to our District from families, staff members and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. Extracurricular Activities

The District resumed all fall athletics and extracurricular activities as they were prior to July 30.  Our North Royalton High School (NRHS) student-athletes have resumed practices as a team, band and Royal Harmony are now practicing.  Our middle school athletic program is in Phase 1 of the reopening guidance from the OHSAA as our NRHS student-athletes similarly did earlier this summer. This goes through August 28.  We will reevaluate the next steps of the middle school program at that time.  Please know all of this is subject to change in an instant depending on data we receive from the state and Board of Health.

The Ohio Department of Health has established a Call Center, staffed by licensed nurses and infectious disease experts to answer questions regarding coronavirus every day, 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. Call 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634).
