Health Services

At North Royalton City Schools, we are fortunate to have a clinic in each of our three buildings staffed by a Licensed Practical Nurse who support the health needs of our students and school community each and every day.  The role of the school clinic is as follows:

First Aid: We provide basic first aid to injured/ill students and staff daily.
Control of communicable disease: In addition to ensuring that every student meets Ohio’s immunization standards, we assess ill students and send home those who are potentially contagious to others.

Support of students with health needs: Chronic and acute health care needs are met on a daily basis for students experiencing disease or disability, in order to maximize the learner’s educational time and experience. We partner with parents and professional healthcare providers to develop health care plans for chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, seizures, and severe food/insect allergies.
  • Screenings: Vision and hearing are important to learning. By completing the mandated Ohio screenings for hearing and vision, we identify those students who need further professional care.
  • Education: We take every opportunity to promote healthy choices.
Please feel free to contact me at 440-582-9067 if I can be of service to you or your family. Thank you for the opportunity to support our children on their educational journey.
