A recent Chrome update may be causing trouble with the browser playing MP3 files. When clicking an audio file in your browser, such as an MP3 file, by default the browser will open this file in a new tab in the web browser's native file player. it has been suggested that if you are having trouble, right-click on the link to an audio file, then select to download the file to your local machine. This will allow you to play the file in an application installed on your machine since the native browser player is experiencing issues right now. We have been told that once the vendor releases an update for the browser in question, this should allow the browser to play audio files normally once more.
