Dear North Royalton Elementary School Families,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am so excited for the start of a new school year in our state of the art facility. I am thrilled to welcome both returning families and those who are new to our school community. Each year brings a sense of renewal and possibility, and this year is no exception. Our dedicated staff has been busy preparing classrooms, planning engaging lessons, and creating a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
We are the proud recipient of the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators’ Hall of Fame School award. Being recognized with this honor is truly a reflection of the wonderful culture we have worked to establish at NRES. We have come so far in the three years we have been at the new building. The entire school community - students, staff, and parents - have worked so hard toward achieving this goal and are so deserving of the honor. The Hall of Fame award makes you realize just how blessed we are to work in a building that is so special because of the people who are members of our team.
Our main goal for the upcoming year is to meet the needs of all learners, both socially and academically. Together we should work cooperatively and collaboratively to create a positive environment that will assist all students in becoming life-long learners, as well as help them to model citizenship, respect and responsibility.
NRES will also embrace a balanced, comprehensive approach to literacy. We will be guided by educational research aimed at increasing students’ ability to make personal connections to the world, while supporting each child’s ability to climb the ladder of text difficulty with success. Rigorous and relevant instruction in listening, oral language development, reading, writing, and presentation skills will form the foundation needed across all grade levels to build strong, motivated, literate students.
I encourage you to stay connected with our school community throughout the year. We value your partnership and believe that working together is essential to the success of our students. Please consider joining our PTA, volunteering in the classroom, or attending school events. Your involvement makes a significant difference in the lives of our students.
This year promises to be full of learning, growth, and memorable experiences. Together, we will celebrate achievements, overcome challenges, and create lasting memories. As we embark on this journey together, I am confident that it will be a rewarding and successful school year for everyone.
