North Royalton City Schools is a highly regarded School District in the State of Ohio. It serves approximately 4,000 students from the cities of North Royalton and Broadview Heights. The District comprises three schools: North Royalton Elementary School, North Royalton Middle School, and North Royalton High School. 

North Royalton City Schools is committed to providing a quality education to its students while operating with one of the lowest per pupil expenditures in the county. 

The District consistently receives the Auditor of State Award with Distinction for a "clean" financial audit report and speaks highly of its financial management practices. This award is given to entities that demonstrate excellence in financial reporting and adherence to proper accounting procedures, ensuring transparency and accountability in their financial operations.

Furthermore, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association is another prestigious recognition that highlights the District's commitment to maintaining high standards in financial reporting and management.

North Royalton Elementary School (Preschool-4th Grade):

  • Offers a state-of-the-art facility, thanks to community support and generosity.

  • Emphasizes explicit and comprehensive literacy instruction, focusing on reading, writing, listening, and presentation skills.

  • Implements a One Book One School program to promote reading and build a community of passionate readers.

North Royalton Middle School (5th-8th Grade):

  • Committed to providing a special middle school experience for students.

North Royalton High School (9th-12th Grade):

  • Hosts events like Career, College, and Military Exploration Day to help students explore potential careers.

  • Offers diverse options in the fine and visual arts, including drama, choir, band, photography, drawing, painting, and creative writing.

  • Provides courses in business, entrepreneurship, personal finance, and technology education to prepare students for life after high school.

  • Offers health and physical education courses in strength, speed, and wellness for all athletes and non-athletes.

  • Engages students in sports and athletic activities, teaching valuable life lessons and building confidence and camaraderie.

Buildings and Grounds:

  • The District takes pride in the new North Royalton Elementary School and the significant renovations of North Royalton High School, along with updates at North Royalton Middle School.

  • Utilizes a permanent improvement plan to budget for large cost items like roof and pavement replacements, as well as funding buses/vehicles, HVAC needs, and technology.

  • The North Royalton Stadium Foundation has raised funds for stadium turf replacement.

  • Upcoming projects include renovating the garage adjacent to the stadium, renovating the bus facility, and installing artificial turf surfaces on baseball and softball fields, among others.
