Web Accessibility Statement

North Royalton City Schools is committed to ensuring that its website, digital content and online services are accessible to all individuals, including people with disabilities. The District believes that every student, family, staff member and community member should have equal access to information, resources and services.

We are continually working to identify and remove barriers that may prevent individuals from accessing our digital content. Our goal is to provide an inclusive, user-friendly online experience by striving to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

North Royalton City Schools recognizes that digital accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We are committed to improving the accessibility and usability of our website and online resources through the following measures:

  • Incorporating accessibility into District policies and communication practices.

  • Considering accessibility when selecting and purchasing digital tools, resources and services.

  • Reviewing website content and digital materials to identify and correct accessibility barriers.

  • Providing guidance and training to staff on creating accessible digital content.

  • Working with website providers and third-party vendors to improve accessibility.

  • Responding to accessibility concerns and providing alternative ways to access information when needed.

Accessibility Standards and Conformance

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) establish internationally recognized standards for making digital content accessible to individuals with disabilities. These guidelines include three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

North Royalton City Schools strives to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and applicable federal and state accessibility requirements.

While we continue to improve accessibility throughout our website, some pages, documents or digital resources may not yet fully meet these standards. We are actively working to identify and address these issues.
