Larry appreciates the energy and spirit of his class, which is brought on by Mr. Yuravak’s positive mindset. Larry and his fellow classmates are a true unit and work together great; which is another aspect of the program that he is very grateful for.

Larry appreciates that CVCC provides a space for like-minded students to attend and learn more about what interests them. He also enjoys the competition opportunities that are available through the SkillsUSA student organization. Larry has had the opportunity to be heavily involved in SkillsUSA; he recently placed 1st in Team Works competition on a regional and state level. He also currently serves as the local chapter president for the organization. Larry works for a local plumbing company which he was connected to through CVCC’s Job Placement opportunities through the Career and Community Resources department.

Outside of academics, Larry runs track in the spring at North Royalton High School. He also enjoys fishing, working on cars, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with friends. After high school, Larry plans on acquiring his plumbing license and continue working in the field, obtaining more training and education along the way. Looking ahead, Larry plans to stay in the plumbing field, work hard, and save enough money to be able to buy a boat, sail, and explore the world.
