Information on Summer Programming and Preparations For 2021-22 School Year
You may be aware that Governor DeWine asked districts to help students advance and make up for any learning that may have been lost or delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of our Extended Learning Plan to support this request, please see the information included HERE
for summer academic opportunities that will be available in August. Additionally, our high school counseling department is emailing information to families regarding opportunities for students in need of credit recovery this summer. It is our goal to support all students that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic’s disruption to school so that everyone can begin the 2021-22 school year successfully.
Along those lines, please be aware that the legislation passed last year that gave school districts the ability to provide remote learning for students and staff does not presently appear to be under consideration for extension beyond this current school year. Therefore, we plan to fully return to daily in-person instruction for the 2021-22 school year.
Registration is open for the August summer intervention programs listed HERE
from now until June 30, 2021. Programs are free of charge and transportation is available if needed.
Thank you for your support and if you have additional questions, please contact the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at 440-582-9040.
