North Royalton Middle School is proud to welcome Brian Gergely as the new assistant principal for the upcoming school year.
Gergely brings with him a strong background in education and leadership. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education from The University of Mount Union, followed by a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University. Last year, he earned his Superintendent’s Licensure, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate Degree at the University of Findlay.
With nine years of experience as an assistant principal at Rocky River High School, Gergely has developed a deep understanding of school leadership, student engagement, and community involvement. His commitment to education and his passion for supporting students make him a valuable addition to the North Royalton team.
An alumni of North Royalton High School and resident of Broadview Heights, Gergely is already part of the North Royalton City Schools family—his two children, Landon and Giada, attend North Royalton Elementary School. He enjoys traveling, reading, fitness, and coaching youth sports in the community, and is eager to deepen his involvement with the district both professionally and personally.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the school community where I live and where my own children are growing up,” said Gergely. “I’m all in.”
We are excited to have Mr. Gergely join our middle school family and look forward to the energy, experience, and dedication he brings to his new role.
