Residents of the North Royalton City School District who have a child turning five years old before August 1, 2026, are invited to register their child for kindergarten beginning February 1, 2026.
For the 2026-27 school year, the district will be holding in-person registration at the High School Community Room. Registration will be held on February 17th and 18th from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on February 19th from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Community Room is located at the front of the High School, 14713 Ridge Road. You will schedule a specific time to bring in all required documents. There will be a link on the Enroll tab of the District’s website that you will click on to sign up for that appointment.
We ask that you complete your online forms before your appointment.
The district offers both the all-day, every-day option, which is tuition-based, and the ½ day every-day option. The half-day am session is 9:00 - 11:45, and the pm session is 12:45 - 3:30. Parents can select a preference for the am or the pm. You must complete registration to guarantee your choice.
The cost for the all-day, every day option for the 2026-27 school year is $2,800.00. Families not interested in the all-day, every-day option will be enrolled in the half-day program.
EARLY ENTRANCE (GRADE ACCELERATION ) TO KINDERGARTEN:
Parents in the North Royalton City School District who are interested in learning more about early entrance to kindergarten, which is also considered grade acceleration, for their child, should go to the district website, click the Enroll tab, and scroll to the bottom of the page for a “Guide to Early Entrance”.
A child may be considered for early entrance (grade acceleration) if the child’s fifth birthday falls between August 1 and December 31, 2026. The child must also meet district screening criteria in the areas of pre-academic, social, and emotional development. This eligibility process for early entrance begins in May and is completed by mid-June.

North Royalton City Schools, along with the North Royalton Police and Fire Department, will be offering Safety Town again this summer. We will be offering two 9-day sessions at the North Royalton Elementary School, located at 16400 State Road, North Royalton, OH. Safety Town teaches young children home and pedestrian safety. Broadview Heights and North Royalton children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2026 and reside within the boundaries of North Royalton City Schools are eligible. The cost for Safety Town will be $70.00 for the nine-day session. Registration opens in early February and can be found on the school's website under the Enroll Tab.
