The North Royalton Stadium Foundation continues its longstanding tradition of supporting students by funding meaningful improvements that enhance both performance and school pride. This fall, the Foundation contributed more than $38,000 in new upgrades benefiting multiple programs across the district—from athletics to music.
“These projects truly reflect why the Stadium Foundation exists,” said Dan Dyson, Chairperson of the North Royalton Stadium Foundation. “Our goal has always been to enrich the student experience, and we’re proud to partner with the district to make impactful upgrades that benefit students now and for years to come.”
The recent donations include:
Track Timing Equipment – $3,000
This advanced timing system now allows North Royalton to host Division I and II Super Regional meets, increasing competitive opportunities for student-athletes and highlighting the district as a premier site for track and field events.
Football Locker Room Enhancements – $10,311.04
Additional improvements to the football locker room continue to elevate the student-athlete experience and support team culture.
Football Play Clock – $5,480
The updated play clock meets OHSAA requirements and enables the district to host neutral-site playoff games—bringing added visibility and community pride to North Royalton.
Soccer Locker Room Upgrades – $10,208.96
Enhancements provide an improved, functional, and pride-filled space for boys’ and girls’ soccer programs.
Band Podiums (2) – $9,900
These new podiums support both rehearsals and performances, ensuring the Marching Band and other ensembles have professional-quality equipment that matches the excellence of their programs.
These investments are the latest in the Foundation’s ongoing support of North Royalton students. To date, the North Royalton Stadium Foundation has contributed over $1.95 million to the North Royalton City School District.
“We are grateful for the forward thinking leadership we have supporting our district,” said Head Girls Soccer Coach Larry Zajac. “Dan Dyson and the Stadium Foundation have been instrumental in making North Royalton the premier place to be. Our coaches and players are appreciative of what they have provided for us. It is truly a special place.”
“The generous donation from the North Royalton Stadium Foundation provided us with a state-of-the-art timing system that generates live, verified results for all athletes, coaches and spectators in attendance,” said Track Coach Joe Francescangeli. “We are now able to host all types of track meets while attracting schools from all over Ohio. This has included league dual meets, the annual Royalton Relays, the Conference Championship, and OHSAA District and Regional Championship meets.”
“We’re fortunate to have such visionary support behind our district,” said Head Boys Soccer Coach Drew English. “The Stadium Foundation’s dedication has helped make North Royalton a standout destination for our student-athletes and families. Our program is deeply appreciative of everything they’ve done for us.”
“We are appreciative to the Stadium Foundation for helping to replace and update our Field Commander Podiums. This equipment was due to be updated and now thanks to the Stadium Foundation we can upgrade our podiums to a fresh modern design that is taller and more visible at field level by the performers,” said Band Director David Vitale.
“We’re proud of the impact we’ve made, but even more excited about how these enhancements help students reach their fullest potential,” Dyson added. “It’s all about ensuring that every student has the best experience possible—whether on the field, on the track, or on the stage.”
“The Stadium Foundation continues to go above and beyond for our students and programs,” said Superintendent Michael Laub. “Dan's leadership and the collective efforts of the Foundation truly reflect the type of support our North Royalton and Broadview Heights community provides our district. We could not be more thankful for all they have done and continue to do.”
The district extends its sincere appreciation to the Foundation and the many community members who continue to invest in the success of North Royalton students.
