North Royalton City Schools successfully wrapped up its annual car raffle fundraiser, giving one lucky winner the keys to a brand new 2025 Chevrolet Trax, while raising support for student programs across the district.
The district-wide raffle was made possible through the continued partnership with Serpentini Chevrolet of Strongsville, which has a long tradition of supporting North Royalton City Schools. Serpentini Chevrolet has proudly held the naming rights to the district’s stadium since it was first built and has remained a consistent partner in supporting student programs, athletics, and community initiatives across the district. The raffle once again brought together students, staff, families, and community members in support of North Royalton City Schools. Tickets were sold for $20 each, with proceeds benefiting the organizations of North Royalton City Schools, North Royalton Stadium Foundation and the North Royalton Athletic Boosters.
The winning ticket was drawn during the February 6 varsity basketball game and the winner was Sarah Singleton. The ticket was sold to her by her niece, freshman Addison Singleton, who is on the high school gymnastics team.
To generate excitement throughout the campaign, the 2025 Chevrolet Trax was displayed in front of the high school since the fall, allowing community members to see the grand prize up close.
“This raffle continues to be a tremendous example of what makes North Royalton special,” said Superintendent Michael Laub. “Serpentini Chevrolet has been a true community partner. Their involvement, combined with the incredible support of our families and residents, allows us to enhance programs and experiences that benefit students throughout the district.”
District leaders thanked everyone who purchased tickets, sold entries, or helped promote the fundraiser, noting that the raffle continues to be a meaningful way for the community to support students while enjoying a fun and exciting opportunity.
