North Royalton High School’s Model United Nations (UN) team participated at the Cleveland Council on World Affairs Spring Model United Nations Conference at Case Western University on February 19 and 20, 2026. There were more than 600 students in attendance from over 30 schools.
The 28-member team included Adwaith Anand, Armaan Arora, Prisha Bhanwala, Quinn Daiker, Ben DeLaney, Owen Ferenchak, Claudia Grimm, Sana Hameed, Mason Holet, Joe Horrigan, Tivana Kianmehr, Tyler Kimmel, Edizer James Labadia, Rocco Laurie, Chloe Lee, Kingston Luong, Elia Nakhle, Dexter Pedaci, Aryav Patel, Divya Patel, Eli Polizzi, Venkat Potula, Prisha Pramod, Shahil Rai, Leisl Seidel, Sachi Shah, Shreya Shah, and Nethra Sriram.
Students debated on a variety of topics, including clean energy transitions, antimicrobial drug resistance, preventing nuclear terrorism, space tourism, protection of child refugees, and labor and economic power for women.
This comes on the heels of a successful appearance for the Model UN team at the Cleveland Council of World Affairs Winter Model UN Conference at Lorain County Community College on December 10 and 11.There were 30 students who participated. North Royalton High School award winners included Shreya Shah and Sana Hameed, receiving Honorable Mention on the United Nations Environmental Programme; Albert Armin receiving the Best Position Paper Award on the International Atomic Energy Agency; and Prisha Pramod receiving Honorable Mention on the International Atomic Energy Agency.
