As we settle into the rhythm of the school year, I am filled with pride reflecting on the incredible energy across our schools and community. From academic achievements to extracurricular and co-curricular activities, our students and staff continue to demonstrate what it truly means to be a Bear.
The State of Ohio recently released the annual State Report Card, and I am proud to share that North Royalton City Schools continue to exceed state standards. While state scores offer a valuable snapshot of our performance, we know that a single test score never tells the complete story of a child's growth or a school's success. That is why we also publish our annual Quality Profile. This comprehensive report accompanies the State Report Card to share what we do each and every day to inspire and empower every learner to become future-ready.
This past Saturday, marching bands from across Northeast Ohio joined us for a non-competitive showcase at Serpentini Stadium. It provided an exciting opportunity for our students to perform, support their peers, and appreciate a variety of musical styles. The evening also featured the premiere performance of our NRHS Marching Band’s 2026 competition show. The event culminated in a powerful combined performance of "America the Beautiful," featuring over 1,600 musicians playing together on the field. A sincere thank you to the Festival of Bands committee, directors, boosters, and student musicians whose hard work made this inspiring evening possible.
Our fall athletics programs are in full swing, and our student-athletes are competing with outstanding grit, sportsmanship, and determination. Whether on the field, court, or course, our Bears are representing North Royalton and Broadview Heights with pride. Be sure to check the athletics schedule on our district app and come out to cheer on our teams as they push for conference and post-season success.
To ensure you never miss an event, game, or critical update, make sure you have downloaded the official North Royalton City Schools App. It is the easiest way to access live feed updates, school news, athletic schedules, and push notifications.
