North Royalton High School hosted its annual AspireHigher Career, College and Military Exploration Day on Friday, October 23, 2026, providing students in grades 9-12 with opportunities to explore career paths, higher education options and military service as they considered their plans for the future.
The event brought together representatives from more than 60 businesses, career-related organizations, colleges, universities and military branches to share information about the many opportunities available to students after graduation.
Throughout the day, students visited displays and spoke with professionals representing a variety of career fields, including medicine, technology, business, skilled trades and more. Representatives shared information about their professions, educational requirements and career experiences, giving students a better understanding of the different paths they could pursue.
Students also connected with representatives from colleges and universities to learn about academic programs, admissions requirements and campus opportunities. Military representatives were available to discuss service options, training and career opportunities within their respective branches.
The event encouraged students to ask questions, discover new interests and consider how their strengths and abilities could help shape their futures. Whether students were interested in attending a four-year university, pursuing technical training, entering the workforce or serving in the military, AspireHigher provided an opportunity to learn more about the possibilities available to them.
AspireHigher reflected North Royalton City Schools’ commitment to inspiring and empowering every learner to become future-ready. The experience also connected to the district’s Portrait of a Bear competencies, particularly Learner’s Mindset, Communication and Critical Thinking, as students explored their interests, engaged in conversations with professionals and considered their next steps after high school.
North Royalton City Schools extends its appreciation to the businesses, colleges, universities, military representatives and community partners who participated in this year’s event and generously shared their time and expertise with students.
