The Taste of North Royalton brought the community together on Thursday, November 5, at the St. Paul Hellenic Center for an evening filled with delicious food, local flavor, and shared pride. Guests enjoyed tastings from a variety of area restaurants, bakeries, and caterers, all while supporting the North Royalton Educational Foundation and the North Royalton Stadium Foundation.
More than 20 local vendors showcased their culinary talents, including Augie's Pizza & Catering, Bakery 57, Chick-fil-A, Cleats Club Seat Grille, The Chonky Cookie Company, Cozumel, Danny Boys Italian Eatery, Fire 45, Frios Gourmet Pops Cleveland SW, JaclynJo's Bakery, Jaipur Junction, Joey's Rockin Popcorn, Jolly's Pizza, Kalaveras, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rosewood Grill, Talerico Catering Company, The 3 Spot, Tony Maloney's, and Broadview Brewing Company.
This year's event held special meaning as the community also came together to show its support for the family of North Royalton firefighter Ryan Milligan, who lost his life in the line of duty, and firefighter Andrew Protsman, who was seriously injured and is recovering.
“This event is a wonderful example of what makes our community so special,” said Superintendent Jeffrey Cicerchi. “We are grateful to the local businesses, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who came out to support our schools. The generosity of our community makes a meaningful difference for our students, providing opportunities and resources that extend beyond the classroom. Special thanks to the North Royalton Educational Foundation and the North Royalton Stadium Foundation for hosting this annual event.”
The event also featured raffles, prizes and opportunities for neighbors, educators and business owners to connect. Proceeds from the evening will benefit both foundations, helping provide scholarships for graduating seniors, classroom grants for teachers, and improvements to Serpentini Stadium and athletic programs. Serpentini Stadium hosts more than 200 community and school events each year.
The North Royalton Educational Foundation and North Royalton Stadium Foundation extend their appreciation to the many vendors, donors, guests and volunteers whose generosity and support helped make the annual event a success. Their continued commitment strengthens North Royalton City Schools and the community it serves.
