North Royalton Middle School Honors Society students were back at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank on February 21 — and their impact was incredible! During this visit, students emptied 12 pallets of boxed products and packed 480 cartons of non-perishable food for families in need. Each carton included essentials such as pasta, canned ground beef, beans, fruit, vegetables, and cereal — totaling an impressive 14,400 pounds of food distributed to support our community. These students did fantastic work and continue to show what leadership and service look like in action.
The Honors Society still has two more volunteer dates this year: March 7 and March 21. We are so proud of their ongoing commitment to making a difference!

Gibby Brings Bear Pride to the Chamber!
Our very own Gibby made a surprise appearance today at the North Royalton Chamber of Commerce luncheon at The 3 Spot— and quickly became the highlight of the afternoon! From handshakes to photos, Gibby helped welcome local business and civic leaders with plenty of Bear spirit.
During the luncheon, Jeff Cicerchi, Director of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction and incoming Superintendent, shared a brief update on exciting initiatives happening across North Royalton City Schools, highlighting the strong partnership between our schools and the business community.
Gibby definitely put smiles on faces and helped create a warm, energetic start to today’s gathering. Thank you to the North Royalton Chamber of Commerce for the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate our community together!

What a wonderful turnout for the Bears Family Resource Group Resource Fair today at North Royalton Elementary School
The event connected families with a wide range of community providers offering services and programs such as summer camps, adapted sports opportunities, music therapy, and other community-based resources. Dozens of organizations participated, including the Cleveland Metroparks and the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, along with many additional local and regional partners.
In addition to the provider fair, the day featured several interactive and inclusive activities for students of all ages. The North Royalton High School basketball team hosted an adapted basketball clinic for school-age students, followed by an adapted soccer clinic led by Coach Lauren from Super Soccer Stars for children ages 1.5 to 8.
The afternoon programming included a performance by Project 16 Dance Studio, showcasing the dancers’ dedication and hard work, and concluded with a music therapy demonstration led by Izzy Donovan of Music Izz Groovy.
The event provided families, students, and community members with meaningful opportunities to learn about inclusive programs and supports available in the area, while fostering connections between families and organizations committed to accessibility, inclusion, and community engagement.
