North Royalton Elementary School families gathered Sunday, August 16, for a Back to School Bash hosted by the NRES PTA, giving students and families an opportunity to reconnect before the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The event was held in the NRES gym, with separate times scheduled for preschool, kindergarten and first-grade families and students in grades two through four.
Students enjoyed an afternoon of games, music, and face painting. Kona Ice and Tom’s Coffee were also on hand as families spent time together and prepared for the return to school.
The Back to School Bash gave students a chance to see classmates and friends while welcoming families back to NRES after summer break. For younger students and those new to the school, the event also provided an opportunity to become more comfortable with the school before the first day.
The NRES PTA organized the event and invited families to learn more about the organization and opportunities to support the school throughout the year.
North Royalton City Schools thanks the NRES PTA and everyone who helped organize the Back to School Bash, as well as the families who attended and helped start the new school year with an afternoon together.
