North Royalton High School held its annual National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at The Dan Calabrese Center for the Performing Arts. The evening honored 59 students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character—the four pillars upon which the organization was founded more than a century ago.

Principal Kristin Hubbell welcomed students and families and led the recitation of the NHS pledge, reminding inductees of their responsibility to uphold the ideals of the organization and continue serving as role models in the school and community.

“Being inducted into the National Honor Society is not just about achieving academic excellence—it’s about being a person of integrity, compassion, and purpose,” said Hubbell. “We are so proud of these students and the positive example they set for our school community.”

The ceremony was led by NHS President Emilie Kuntz, who opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and introduced current members of the society. Vice President Leah Prezenkowski introduced guest speaker Mrs. Angel Scott, retired NRHS teacher, who shared words of encouragement and reflection about the lasting value of service and integrity.

Current NHS members—Chloe Lee (leadership), Andrew Hudak (service), Morgan Felice (scholarship), and Albert Armin (character)—spoke about the importance of each of the four pillars and how they apply to their experiences as students and leaders.

Kuntz then introduced the 2025–2026 class of new inductees, who pledged to uphold the standards of the National Honor Society. This year’s inductees represent both the junior and sophomore classes and were selected based on their academic achievement, commitment to service, and demonstration of strong moral character.
