It’s only the beginning of the season, but North Royalton High School’s Royal Harmony is already making a strong statement.

The North Royalton High School show choir delivered an impressive performance at its first competition of the year, Findlay Fest, held on January 31, 2026, earning multiple top honors against a competitive field of schools.

Royal Harmony was named Small Mixed Grand Champions, while also receiving awards for Best Crew and Best Show Design. The group’s standout performance also earned Second Place Overall for the entire competition—an impressive achievement so early in the season.

In addition to group awards, Ben Swab was recognized as Best Performer, highlighting the individual talent within the ensemble.

“These results are a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our students and staff,” said Director of Choirs, Sydney Jahnigen. “For our first competition of the season, Royal Harmony truly set the tone for what’s ahead. They have taken a beautiful story and made it an engaging and powerful experience to watch.”

With strong momentum out of the gate and a show that is already earning high praise, Royal Harmony is poised for an exciting and successful season ahead.
