North Royalton High School alumnus Vincent Fondale will appear in front of the judges on American Idol TONIGHT at 8 p.m. on ABC, marking a major national milestone in his music career.
Fondale, a 2018 graduate of North Royalton High School, is the lead vocalist of the Cleveland-based epic pop/alternative band Recess. During his time at North Royalton, he was also a member of the Boys Varsity Football team. Since graduating, he has continued to build a strong presence in the music industry through songwriting, recording, and live performances across the country.
Fondale began performing at a young age and went on to co-found Recess, a band that has earned significant regional recognition, including being named Best Alternative Band by the Cleveland Music Awards and ranking among Cleveland’s top bands by Cleveland Scene Magazine. The group is known for its theatrical, high-energy performances and cinematic pop sound, and has appeared at major festivals and venues nationwide.
His upcoming appearance on American Idol places him on one of the largest stages in entertainment and gives national exposure to his talent and dedication to music.
