Spring Fever

Our kids have spring fever, and that means they need to hear some BEAR Way reminders. This past week, administrators have been visiting with our students to discuss recent issues in our restrooms. Students are causing damage that has resulted in us having to close restrooms to replace plumbing. As a result, students are having to travel farther to use the restroom, resulting in more missed class time. The students found to be causing these issues will be given consequences that involve working with our custodians after school - someone is going to have to help them complete all of the other work they are not getting to because of these issues. Students may also face charges for damages.

Please join me in reminding our kids to respect their environment, our custodial team, and all of the other students that use these facilities. Our Bears have the power and responsibility to make NRMS a positive school community they can take pride in.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, school counselor, grade level principal, or me with any questions.

Thank you!

Erin

Ohio State Testing

Additionally, students in grades 5 and 8 will also take a science assessment. Below you will see our specific testing days. If you know your student will have a scheduled absence on these days, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. I am confident that our students will do a great job on the upcoming assessments.
