Happy New Year from North Royalton City Schools! #NRInspireGreat

The North Royalton and Broadview Heights communities came together for the 11th annual Taste of North Royalton event on Thursday, November 9 at the St. Paul Hellenic Center. This tradition was hosted by the North Royalton Educational Foundation and North Royalton Stadium Foundation to support both non-profit organizations in their missions to enhance educational and co-curricular opportunities for North Royalton City Schools students.
This year's Taste of North Royalton featured an array of mouthwatering dishes from nearly 20 of the area's top restaurants and caterers. The more than 350 attendees got to sample appetizers, entrees and desserts while supporting a great cause. A raffle and silent auction full of impressive prize baskets and packages added to the fun.
The following vendors participated: Amici Italian Restaurant, Augie’s Pizza & Catering, Bakery 57, Barrio, Chick-fil-A, Cozumel, Danny Boy’s Italian Eatery, Fire 45 Grille & Social, JaclynJo’s Bakery, Jolly’s Pizza, 9er’s Diner & Pub, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rosewood Grill, Royal Breakfast & More, Salted Dough, Talerico Catering Company, The 3 Spot, Tony Maloney’s, and Verde Street Tacos.
The Taste of North Royalton has become a highly anticipated night out each year for the school community as they get to experience so many of the city's delicious dining establishments all in one place. Community members enjoyed catching up with friends and neighbors while indulging in great food for a great cause.
Over its decade-long history, the event has raised critical funds to support impactful programs for North Royalton City Schools through the North Royalton Educational Foundation, such as teacher grants and student scholarships. Proceeds have also helped the North Royalton Stadium Foundation provide facility improvements to the district stadium complex.
The Taste of North Royalton committee members include Dr. John Kelly, Nick Discenza, Laura Whitehead, Brittany Troyer, Danetia McKay, Dan Dyson, Tony Santangelo, Aldo Filipelli, Ann Gurin, Anne Reinkober, Beth Burdick, Cathy Norris, Chris May, Gabrielle Weidig, Jamie Vanek, Jeff Cicerchi, Karie Hulvalchick, Melissa Vojta, Mike Laub, Sally Newman, Scott Spirakus, Kelly Tarnowski, and Ryan Gnagy.

At approximately 1:40 p.m., we began having power issues at both the high school and middle school. We are working with the power company to determine what the issue is and hopefully get it resolved as soon as possible.

September is pediatric cancer awareness month, and Ryan Kuchta, a junior at NRHS, has launched a T-shirt to help the cause. https://www.homage.com/products/hockey-strong #NRInspireGreat
